GRADE 2 NEWS
Integrating Hands-on Fun!
As part of the Integrated Studies topic ‘Materials’ , the 2D students were asked to Plan, Prepare and Construct a project using different types of materials. Students creatively used many types of recycled materials including; plastic bottles, cardboard boxes of various sizes, straws, feathers, buttons and lots more. A collection of bottle carry bags, bottle zipper pencil cases, Hit the Rabbit on the head game and a mini city came alive in the construction.
Students’ collaborative team work was a success and all students were eagerly delighted to share their pieces with the rest of the staff and students in the school.
